About
A small shop with a simple idea
Build good things by hand, and treat every customer the way you'd want to be treated.

Woodpecker Woodworking is a small woodshop tucked into the hills of West Virginia, started in 2022 out of a love for working with our hands and making things that actually last.
What began as a handful of weekend projects has grown into a full custom shop turning out signs, laser-engraved wood and metal pieces, and one-off woodwork for homes, weddings, and small businesses all over the region.
Most of what leaves the shop is custom — a family name sign, a set of engraved tumblers for a wedding party, a carved plaque for a local business, a shelf built to fit an awkward wall. If you can sketch it or describe it, there's a good chance we can build it.
The approach is straightforward: listen closely to what you want, pick honest materials, and take the time to get the details right. No factory line, no drop-shipped catalog — just careful work from a small West Virginia shop that cares how it turns out.
